The Estate Gallery

This estate retail store is in a highly visible location of Palm Springs,
CA, with approximately 4,000 sq. ft. of total floor space. I helped to
Optimize™ approximately 2,500 sq. ft. of the 1st floor. The 2nd floor was
used as storage of inventory filled to capacity.
I am not aware if the owners have continued to maintain the
Optimization™ since my involvement, but it made a positive difference by
drawing customers in while I was there.
Unfortunately, I do not have before photos of this project. However,
these after shots show utilization of lacking space for an overflow of
inventory.
The agreement for this project was that I would
Optimize™ for them
one time, since my focus of choice is on Golden Age'rs™ & Baby Boomers.
The objective was to help the owners to optimize their over crowded shop
of estate findings, & draw customers into the store.
The amount of belongings were so abundant that there was no moving space,
much less breathing space. Items were randomly placed with no flow or
continuity. Customers would step in for a short time, take a quick look
without walking all the way through (stayed close to the front), and quickly
exited. The feeling of claustrophobia was overwhelming. The owners were
overwhelmed with where to begin & get the most out their space.
They requested my services to help them get started with a fresh
reasonable setup that they could easily takeover & maintain, as their
inventory quickly turned. By displaying items in somewhat of an order &
creating more floor space for ease of mobility I was able to help them
accomplish what they requested.
